Pros

- Enjoyed co-workers very much, great people who worked hard and make daily work manageable - Corporate Office was really nice, beautiful area and updated / recent technology

Cons

- Top level management was extremely unorganized and unaware of simple processes, resulting in finger-pointing and blaming others for things that were not fully understood - Director of IT position was changed so often, no consistency whatsoever, leadership is meant to lead and guide, not expect and blame - When company decided to outsource entire IT department, absolutely no warning or heads-up was provided to employees. One employee had been with IT for I believe well over 10 years, and they were brought into a room and told they were outsourced.

Costs too much to work there

Pros

My building's therapy team is strong and is like family.

Cons

1. Low pay with miniscule pay raises of 0.5 to 1%. Even PRN is low compared to other contract companies. 2. No hazard pay for therapists on COVID units. Only a 1 time bonus to thank us. 3. Being forced to travel to other buildings due to staffing issues with minimal compensation. 4. Group/concurrent expectations are not realistic, especially with 35 minutes of treatment and with bedbound patients.

Symbria Response

Thank you for your feedback. We're proud of the teamwork and compassion for others our employees have shown through the incredibly difficult time of the pandemic. Some travel to other communities is required to maintain full-time status if census is low in a particular building. Salaries have been rising very fast and we strive to stay competitive. We understand the changes are challenging and we've taken a variety of steps to retain and recruit staff including pay raises, bonuses, flexible schedules. - Deb Bragg, Chief HR Officer
