When it comes to working from home, we in fact highly encourage every employee, regardless of who you are, to telecommute for safety and health during this pandemic if the option is available to us and to our clients. Some of our government customers were slow to adopt telecommuting abilities, and at that time determinations were made based on each person’s risk factors and the ability to productively connect to the customer’s systems. However, at this point almost everyone is working from home.
We always encourage employees to use our Anonymous Feedback Portal or contact HR should they have concerns or problems within the workplace, but feedback from the majority of the company indicates positive morale and excitement about the projects we’re supporting as well as enjoyment in working with their teammates. We are aware of many positive-thinking, motivated, and encouraging employees and teams within Synergy. Employee morale doesn’t only come from the leadership, but also from within the team. People stay because they find satisfaction in the quality work they do and because Synergy recognizes, appreciates, and awards their excellent work.
