-random shifts each week which meant that you couldn't plan ahead, which was annoying considering it was the Christmas holiday period. also, on the same shift you can be put on the tills or on several departments and people exploit this and deliberately don't do anything so that when you come to that area e.g. women's clothes, it is a tip -was not allowed to leave until my area was clean (i.e) all items picked up from the floor, rails in size order etc. My team leader never appreciated the fact that I went above and beyond, I always completed my role in the time allotted but when I had finished I was just moved around to do more work because other were slacking. - they don't treat Christmas temps with respect, they claim to have full time jobs available after and use this as a ploy to get people to work hard but in reality, they have no intention of keeping anyone on.

Very hard work, on feet all day,some of the managers treat you bad, too many managers giving you all different things so you don't know who to listen to, you never get out on time and your days off can change suddenly so it's hard to make any plan. Things change constantly and you get in trouble because no one has told you something changed
