Pros

Underneath middle management are some of the hardest working individuals in the community, yet their ideas are snuffed out by the older generation who comes from a 'do as their told' mentality, rather than promoting a fresh idea or thought.

Cons

House of cards management style. Employees are asked to do more with less and less information. The recent 'growth' statistics are not due to increased market share, but rather in the cost savings of cleaning out jobs and claim denial. Promotions are slow, as growth is stifled by an older generation in senior positions that do not encourage the young up and comers to fast track to middle management positions. A typical 'wait your turn' management style, and few to no minorities in any type of leadership. A good ol' boys club of a board telling the workforce when to sit, stand, eat and breathe. Not a environment for the out of the box thinker, everything must be OK'd by a controlled process in a controlled environment. If you are a free thinker, then I suggest you find a different company that is more open minded to growth in the 21st century.

Pros

Multiple locations throughout the US. Mid sized privately held company. Extremely good profits.

Cons

Employees have no rights. Anyone who applies or is hired MUST sign an arbitration agreement or is not offered the job. The arbitration agreement ensures that employees cannot raise a complaint against the employer for unlawful workplace practices. Employees have no legal rights. TAMKO holds all of the power (and abuses that power). If you whistle blow, you will be removed with no explanation.

Pros

Ok pay I guess . There's better out there but there's a whole lot worse too

Cons

You are owned by tamko. Heard claim to be a family oriented business but you have absolutely no family life! And you have no voice . If you speed your mind you will find yourself jobless.
