      A Great Company that Cares about Its Employees and the World

      Pros

      This company puts an emphasis on work/life balance, and it has a social conscience. This is rare enough in the world, but TCG also provides industry leading service to customers. Coworkers are smart and talented which makes everyday interactions productive and engaging. Given that this review is coming from a marketing writer, you might be tempted to read this a little skeptically, but it's true; TCG is a great place to work and does great work. I've worked in different roles in some very different industries and this company stands apart for its commitment to employees, customers, and the community. That's the truth.

      Working remotely can be challenging at times.

      You’re right, telecommuting can be difficult, and we know it. That’s why we work to include everyone -- on-site and off-site staff -- into events like online social discussions of big events like the final season of Game of Thrones and the World Series. There’s also sprees, our TCGer-led events like wine tastings, cooking classes, horseback riding, Cirque du Soleil, and others. If you have other ways to connect with coworkers feel spree to let us know!

      Collaborative people who make the world a better place

      Pros

      The word "collaboration" has almost been redefined in my mind in association with TCGers. Everyone is friendly and hard-working, and most tasks are approached more as helping each other accomplish common goals rather than just doing your job. This is most visible in our mission to "improve the world around us, in big and little ways, every day," which is at the forefront of company-led activities. In essence, we are encouraged to be ourselves while making the world a better place.

      Cons

      Work is still work, so not every day is going to be rainbows and butterflies. TCG does everything in its power to make your job and life better; it's just important to recognize there are inherent difficulties regardless of how great the company is.
