Good health benefits, family first beliefs, worked with some really good people, made some good friends. Learned some things along the way

Cons

Servant Leadership is a joke, low pay, promise bonuses but don't deliver, some management only cares about themselves

Pros

Good benefits, employee owned (so they say) paid education, paid uniforms, 100 dollar a year boot and blue jean allowance. Large scale projects meaning you get good experience on a vast variety of different things.

Cons

Too much overhead. A lot of smoke and mirrors. Whole lot of buck passing. A lot of brother-in-law scenarios. Very low chance of promotion. Low pay (NCCER certified pipe fitters and welders make 21.50 tops ) Company is too large. Deep line in the sand between office and field. They say they are "Partners" but I never felt it. They always toot their horn about making the Forbes top 100 companies to work for 152 years in a row (maybe less) ; I guess so when you tell your employees what to write.

They are definitely flexible about family matters, they are great about continuing education when you push for it.

Cons

Oh the drama here...It is all about titles, do not even to attempt to help a co-worker because they assume youre trying to take their job.
