pros and very huge cons

Pros

Fun friendly atmosphere between co-workers and regular customers are happy to see you, Tjxx has great ideas in customer experience & the business model concept

Cons

Tjxx is not a door to floor in 4 hours company, coordinators beware! Tjxx is more about paper work, & customer exp / credit card sales rather than supporting emptying its own stockroom & organizing merchandise on their sales floor for the customer, it causes very low morale & strains work relationships between co-workers

Pros

I worked at TJ Maxx for about 3 years while I was in high school. They were typically good about me having to take time off and gave me flexible hours. The work was easy, though fairly monotonous at times. Good coworkers.

Cons

There was a crazy turn-over rate and there were extremely few full-time workers because of this (and to avoid giving benefits). Management was nice in the break room but more interesting in keeping the customers happy than backing their own employees when a customer was upset about a price or a rule. Coworkers were great but we were often sent to work individually and discouraged from talking on the job.
