Pros

I love the opportunity to work with so many different people! The 10% discount on already reduced clothes is awesome and every once in awhile the 20% additional discount is sweet! Benefits after 3 months for us full time employees are fantastic! Great health insurance, life insurance, 401k, etc... It's really a pretty easy job if you are responsible and can show up to work each day... However...Read my cons...

Cons

Turnover is extreme! We are constantly training new employees. The threat of losing your job from management is extreme! You will be written up for everything from a receipt not being signed to coming in late. Although I can understand some of the policies, others are out of control! After so many of the same write ups, you're fired! Good luck moving up in this company... I see people who have been here for 3-5 yrs that should be asst. managers, but instead management brings in managers from other stores. Your chances of moving up in this company are slim!!! Here you have a great group of employees working for an average of $10/hr and the entire team of regional comes into your store and doesn't walk around and shake the associates hands and say thank you for your hard work! I know they do that at other box stores...These little guys...They are the ones who are putting the big bucks in your pockets! Just saying...Thank you goes a long way...

Pros

You get a 10% discount on every day of the week and they do 20% weekends every few months. If you're full time, you get full benefits after a year of being full time I.e. Health, dental and eye insurance, life insurance, 401K, and holiday pay. They do luncheons in rewards for meeting credit app goals and charity goals too.

Cons

A lot of hard work for very little reward. There's no commission. You have a very hard time having a life outside of work due to the crazy scheduling they do since you have to have open availability as a full timer. And when you try to leave for another job, they try to make you feel like you have more opportunities to advance you but you never will.

Pros

The only attraction is that we have Fridays off, but that could be taken away at any moment.

Cons

Transactional leadership is the focus. Creativity is lacking and the inability to forecast during production is a daily battle. Internal opportunities are lacking as well as a career path. Leadership does not promote internal candidates that are well versed in leadership traits. If you speak against the business model you become shunned.
