Pros

A good group of people to work with. Everyone is sincerely interested in creating a company that takes better care of its patient’s, customers and employees. Some days we do a better job than others but we are always trying to do better. We are all encouraged to have fun at work and to try to make things better than they were yesterday. They match my 401K. I have seen no change in health benefits over the last 3 years and the cost has not risen. There is an "All In Award" every 6 months and everyone gets the same no matter what. A Rehab Tech would make the same as a Regional.

Cons

Dealing with change is probably the most difficult part of the job. It seems that the industry never stops changing and it is challenging to stay on top of everything.

Pros

Adaptable, TMC is on the cutting edge and up to date on all post-acute care regulations that impact facilities as well as therapist. Often time, my other therapy friends, ask me, what is TMC doing about this? How is this being handled at TMC? This is b/c we are seen in the field as experts and try to stay ahead of the curve. Focused on Patient Centered Care through education / resources and time to treat and focus on patients.

Cons

All therapist need to take ownership in patient centered care / billing practices

Pros

Really can't think of any.

Cons

The "Faith Based" company that other reviewers talk about is true but the CEO crams her beliefs down your throat. She comes up with these charities and expects all employees to support them so that she will look good. The company pushes therapists to 100% productivity even though this is not really obtainable. To comply, the therapist is expected to use untrained "rehab coordinators" to supervise patients while the therapist is setting up another patient of doing notes and evaluations. I worked in a SNF based office and there was a constant battle between the company's administration and the SNF's administration on who was supposed to purchase and maintain equipment meaning that we were often working with broken or outdated equipment. Salaries were frozen for over 3 years but management still held quarterly meetings which included over night travel, food, accommodations, lodging, etc where teleconferencing would have sufficed (although the partying and heavy drinking would not have been possible).
