Pros

I was hesitant to accept the offer due to the reviews here. Took a chance because anything would have been better than my last job, but this ended up being great and exactly what I needed in my career (at least so far)! No real complaints, just growth and a positive environment. Hoping things stay this way amidst uncertain times. - Pay is good. Coming from a large consulting company, the pay is great! - Fun and challenging work. - Nice and smart teammates. - Learning engineering best practices, which is a stark difference from my previous employer. - Remote work - Work life balance

Cons

- Somewhat isolated since a good chunk of the employees are not in KS

Pros

Employees given significant autonomy in their work. Ability to make direct impact on outcomes regardless of role. Flat org promotes collaboration across all levels. Significant learning opportunity for those who truly want a start-up experience of "move fast and break things" and creative liberty to solve a new puzzle every day. Building a company is not easy, but team across the org maintains poise and confidence day in/day out. CEO is experienced serial entrepreneur with high expectations and amazing energy, vision, and creativity. The company is well on track to achieve strong success against multi-million / billion dollar competitors in the space.

Cons

Difficult cut throat industry & complex technology creates high-stress, uncertain environment at times. But for those up to the challenge, it leads to an engaging and fulfilling career opportunity.
