Great pay, depending on what desk you land on everyone is willing to help, get to go out with clients to nice places in Manhattan

Cons

Promised rotational program but ended up placed on a desk which worked out for me but might not workout for everyone, need to share more accounts with the younger brokers

Pros

Salary, you are paid for the abuse you will endure here. Count only the salary as a pro. And pto days

Cons

They are overly demanding and treat you inhumanly. You are constantly on call and even if you have to take a call in the middle of the night, you are expected to be in the office the next day on time regardless. Also, work from home on the weekends, there is no comp time or reward. bonus will be peanuts. If you see brokertec in the description, don't change jobs for this. Only take it if you have no other options whatsoever. This is a career ending opportunity. Don't take a trading support titled role here. They also fire people for the dumbest reasons, without any warnings, right before bonus time at the end of April. No job security at all. No flexibility at all. No work from home other than weekends which they require. The work itself is same thing over and over.. a lot of downtime where you are just sitting in the office as required. Rotating shifts are a joke. Team lead is anal that each shift be covered to the last minute. (7-4/8-5/9-6/10-7) so when you request a day off and are even 8-5/9-6 you get asked the stupid question of who will cover that shift. In a reasonable environment, the important shifts required are early and late.. there's an overlap that will cover the day shifts. But in this place... extremely stupid....
