Thank you for your contributions during your time with TSP – we’re sorry to hear that you had a negative experience in that time. That sort of experience is clearly not the way we would want any employee to feel, and given our company rating and CEO approval, clearly not the way the vast majority of our employees feel. Nevertheless, thanks for taking the time to provide us some feedback and insight. The advice you suggested, “Have a plan in place for employees looking to advance with your company,” is something we actually strive for. The foundation of advancement is communication, and that begins with having those conversations with your manager to establish timelines and measurable goals. Granted, some contracts don’t offer any immediate opportunities for advancement, but most recently in January of 2018, the company went through a reorganization and a significant number of employees were promoted. Furthermore, in late 2016, we implemented a system that notifies managers of a team member who hadn't had their salary revisited in over a year. Consequently, this led to a record number of employee change forms being submitted and approved, and a little over $1M in merit increases being awarded to our hard-working employees. Thanks again for taking the time to provide your feedback – we wish you the best.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us this thoughtful and careful review of your time with us. Additionally, thank you for your contributions during your time with TSP. You raise a valid concern – the desire for higher pay is not falling on deaf ears. We do benchmark and market our compensation structures annually. Unfortunately, many of our pay rates are dictated by client bill rates. The simple fact of the matter is, if we continue to increase an employee's pay year-after-year without increases from the customers to our bill rates, we eventually risk going into the red. Keep in mind that TSP’s profit margin doesn't even come into equation – we're talking about a for-profit company essentially functioning as a non-profit where we aren't making any margin. To help counter any pay discrepancies or potential oversight, we’ve put into place a system to notify our management team of an employee who has not had a pay increase in the previous year. As a direct result, the number of employee change forms being submitted and approved last year with just under $1M in merit increases being awarded to our deserving employees. We appreciate your time and your candid feedback. The feedback we receive – like yours – is heard and taken seriously. Thanks again for being one of our #TSProckstars – we wish you all the best.

Pros

Gain some experience in Enterprise IT and learn what kind of companies not to build a career in.

Cons

You get treated like a contractor by TSP management and Directors when you are a full time employee. The same culture of degrading body language and verbiage is introduced as well from the clients you are servicing as a contractor and Full time TSP employee..

I'm sorry to hear that you had this type of experience at TSP, especially over the course of your 5 years of employment. Nevertheless, thanks for taking the time to provide us some feedback and insight. Your experience is clearly not the way we would want any employee - contract or otherwise - to feel, and given our company rating and CEO approval, clearly not the way the vast majority of our employees feel. We're not a perfect employer and we may not be a perfect match for every employee - that's totally fine. But we'd hope that your experience wasn't sour for your entire tenure with TSP, that's a long time to be so unhappy. Our product is our people, it's more than simply some throwaway line, it's who we are. We treat every employee - regardless of position, department or tenure - with respect, we are a family. However, it sounds as though you didn't share the same experience with the client, and for that we sincerely apologize. We'd hope that you did (as we encourage every employee to do) have a conversation with your manager the moment anything became an issue - we can only help to rectify problems when we're made aware of them. Thanks again for taking the time to provide your feedback on your 5 years with us - we wish you the best in the future.
