There are talented employees across the board at TSYS, but management in many departments is running good employees off. The culture at the Alpharetta office doesn't match the cohesiveness that has benefited the Columbus headquarters.

The difference in working for the leaders in Columbus vs Atlanta or Tempe are very striking! They don't even try to hide their "Good ole Boy" attitude. They'll place the worst possible leaders in positions that they're clearly not qualified for regardless of the impact of everyone. I've witnessed cousins promote cousins over others that were much more qualified! I've witnessed minorties with masters degrees be passed up by whites in the inner circle and a GED get promoted. The company line says they're all about equal opportunity but I know for a fact that's not true! If you're white, you have a shot at advancement but even then, you HAVE to be a yes man/woman! Do NOT challenge their way of doing things. HR is in the tank and can't think independently, I have been told by my manager "There are too many blacks here!" I'm still in shock over that line!
