Pros

Excellence practically guarantees promotion. If you are skilled, and driven, and collaborate well, there are many pipelines into back office and middle management roles.

Cons

By their nature, call centers are just jobs to the majority of people who walk through the doors. There is a lot of churn and constant change, and that doesn't fit everyone for a long term career choice. Pay tends to be average to slightly below average for similar positions at similar employers in similar markets.
