Pros

The job is stable, there are some catered company lunches, towel service and a dinky exercise room (no weights, just some old machines).

Cons

Management continuously violates employment laws by calling employees during personal time off and/or making them work. Expect to work long grueling hours, not be paid well and be yelled at every day. The company is full of finger pointing and blaming people for not getting work done, instead of working together and actually doing work. Management professes to develop associates but will deny training to those who aren't in the "in" crowd. The company also heavily pressures you to donate and contribute to the United Way, whose CEOs have been found guilty of embezzling funds. The company also has promoted a few minorities into management positions but, as an African American, I can tell you that there is still open discrimination. Management will also hamper your career opportunities and promote their friends. If they don't like you, regardless of your performance review, they will stop you from getting a job on another team. For non-management, senior level management is off limits and managers openly discourage you from

Pros

Pay and benefits are ok. Very laid back environment

Cons

Some departments receive no training and there is limited room for advancement. The company /CEO/ managers will bully people out of the door. In the past year there has been a big initiative to higher more African Americans, but there is still room for improvement. Definitely a Good-OLD-Boy system, recently made the DFW 100 Best Places to Work, but I don't see how.

Pros

The pay was great and the hours were flexible. Met some very nice people along the way.

Cons

Contractors are not valued. I was set to go Contract to Permanent but my supervisor was Satin's wife. Nothing was good enough. I worked hard and did everything I was suppose to do, but she did not like me because she was not involved in my hiring, she used every method in the book to intimidate me and get me to quit, bullying and all. The recruiting department is a mess and several people left in the short time I was there. The Director allowed all of this to go on!!!
