This is a great hospital to learn at as a new RN, Many experiences and opportunities to grow as a nurse. The insurance is great, very affordable,

Cons

This is a very lager hospital and difficult to navigate around. Health care insurance offered requires you to use only TGH or USF affiliated groups. After giving my two week notice my manager did not speak to me once. She literally stood across from me and spoke to another nurse and did not acknowledge me leaving after 2 years of service

Great front line staff across entire hospital. Care provided is unparalleled.

Cons

Senior Management is leading hospital in the wrong direction. It will be bought out by a competitor in the next 2 years.

How Disappointing TGH Has Become!

Pros

I'm thinking, but can't come up with anything.

Cons

Since the CEO changeover at TGH, benefit costs are continuing to climb, employee perks have been reduced and in some instances discontinued. Leadership is stagnant and archaic in their beliefs. It's been very disappointing in the last couple of years. Many good people have left it are looking elsewhere, including myself.
