Has a casual work enviroment and a silicon valley type of feel and you get to work with big name clients.

Cons

The pay to time you worked was not compatible. You will be working more than 60 hours a week and the salary does not justify the work load. Organizational structure is poor, analysts, and coordinators always fighting.

Casual, fun, start-up atmosphere. They have happy hours once a month, play in intramural leagues throughout the year, and offer other fun outings The people are fun to work with Room to grow if you take initiative to ask for more responsibilities Leader in tech and development in the political space

Cons

Extremely long hours during the election season, with no overtime pay. If you're looking for a 9-5, this is not for you. No vacation allowed during election season, however they are very flexible with vacation time during off season. Compensation is low for the industry, especially in the DMV Somewhat of a communication problem across multiple departments If you aren't politically conservative, you may want to look elsewhere. You likely won't be considered for hire and even if you are, you will not be treated the same way as other employees.
