Cons
Everything, lets get started. First of all, they expect you to work 7 days a week. You don't get weekends off, not a single weekend out of the year. You have no downtime, nor any time to rest. "Some nights and weekends" means EVERY night and every weekend. You will be forced to have your laptop with you on every occasion. Weekend plans? You will work during it. Plans after work? Prepare to bring your laptop because something WILL come up for you to do. Workers treated the workplace like high school. Drama everywhere, with no sense of maturity. The ones who caused the most drama were rewarded with fast promotions and job security. They OBVIOUSLY over-hired last year. It was apparent to the entire company that they expanded too fast. Too many people were dead weight, they could have had 75% of the staff and gotten the same amount of work done. Now lets get to the brunt of it. Before the election, Zac Moffatt told everyone that they could work until November 18th and get paid through the end of the year (if they filled out a form and went through the proper channels). However, layoffs would not occur. Then on January 4th, myself and several other employees (who were not "cyclical" like Zac mentioned) were terminated. This happened out of nowhere on Zoom of all places, with not a single VP or above let go that day. Zac mentioned employment help and resources, that turned out to be useless. Despite these layoffs, they added a new VP right after Black Wednesday. What company even needs 45+ VP's and above anyway? Especially when you have less than 300 people at a company. Why would you over-hire, spend who even knows how much on that holiday party, not to mention all the other amenities last year only to lay off your hardest working employees? If you are looking to work here, I can promise you that you'll be better off somewhere else.
