Lack of Transparency

Pros

The pros of working for Teads are the people. Not management or senior leadership teams, but the people who are in the trenches with you everyday. You will find some of the most creative, hard working individuals as your co workers who continue to do phenomenal work with little to no recognition (unless they're in Sales, of course).

Cons

Cons: zero transparency. It was bad pre-Covid, and then once Covid hit, their lack of transparency went from bad to worse. People have been let go and furloughed left and right without so much as a "heads up". Despite mass layoffs and furloughs, senior leadership gives very little recognition to the current state of the business. Not to mention - most of the folks who were furloughed have been laid off, and if they were lucky to remain "furloughed" they have received zero updates on when they will be brought back. This kind of culture has led to an overall feeling of uncertainty.

Thank you for your candid feedback and we apologize for the delay you’ve experienced in hearing from us. We take every opportunity we can get to be better and we greatly appreciate your help in pushing us to get there. We are in full agreement that our business is founded on and built around our people. They are industry leading talent and we are so lucky to have them. Our managers and senior leadership team are some of our hardest working and most dedicated talent. These are people that have been with the company for many years and have helped shape not only the trajectory of the business but the talent in which they nurture. We value every member of our team across the globe. As our company grows, finding new ways to effectively communicate is an ongoing challenge. When we were physically separated from one another in March of 2020 due to COVID-19, leaders, both global and local, started providing weekly updates on the state of the business and what we would expect in the coming weeks and months. This level of transparency was critical as we dug deep and worked together to bring the business back to life. While we would have loved to avoid furloughs all together and better prepare our staff for these changes, the circumstances of the pandemic did not allow for this. We would welcome the opportunity to speak to you in more detail about how else we can progress. Ines Quesada Chief People Officer

Thank you for your engagement with our business on Glassdoor. We would love to have a deeper discussion with you about your thoughts about how we can improve. While you may feel that our benefits are average, we believe our total benefits offering is the "gold" package across our industry, competitive, and as you know is 100% employer paid. Furthermore, as it was previously announced, regarding career development our career pathing map will be launched in tandem with annual reviews so more to come shortly. In the meantime, I encourage you to discuss your feedback and future goals with your manager or your Human Resources lead. We are continuously thinking of new and innovative ways of being the best in our business so please do reach out to us should you have any additional suggestions and if you would like to remain anonymous, there are forums internally to do this as well. Thank you in advance for taking the time.

Pros

Health benefits, 401k match up to 6%, gym and phone reimbursement, happy hours.

Cons

Very hard to get promoted or salary increase. The pay is extremely below the market unless you are in Sales. There is no way you can get from HR department information on any employee matter since all they do is just hiring Sales people. Leadership team is so fool of themselves.
