Pros

From my experience - There are some awesome developers that work for Teamwork so depending on the team you get to be part of, you might have the opportunity to learn a great deal and really enhance your skills - There is a big push on positive mental health, you get 30 minutes daily to recharge and do whatever you want and get paid for it - Education budget, around 1.5k to spend on courses, conventions or anything to boost your learning - you get to ship features / fixes often.

Cons

From my experience - Salary is quite low compared to other places and managers/ / HR refuse to discuss this after you are hired. - There is no proper performance review, it's just a case of whatever your manager says and then if their manager believes them, they don't go off any facts or figures like tasks completed / features released / bugs fixed etc so it's very subjective and you dont get to discuss why you should get more or why they dont think you deserve more. - There is a lot of misinformation provided and the lack of documentation around decisions means it's usually a he said - she said thing where people just blame others rather than trying to solve underlying issues - in terms of the tech stack, you could be stuck working on really old tech like coffeescript, knockout and coldfusion or you could get lucky to work on Vue and Golang, it all depends on the area of the app that your team supports. - very little documentation, things are getting better but there is a huge amount of outdated documents so it can be challenging trying to figure out how things are supposed to work now vs previously

Pros

Gym membership, some other perks.

Cons

Staff are leaving for a reason. They made several long term, highly respected and valued staff redundant at the start of 2020, stating 'Covid downturn' as the reason while still actively hiring. It's been a mass exodus since. Long term staff leaving for higher position roles elsewhere is now the norm. Says a lot about the companies leadership team and promotion opportunities.

Pros

The salary and benefits were ok.

Cons

Out of all the companies I've worked for, this is the only one I would describe as having a toxic culture.
