Pros
- The drive, enthusiasm and ambition of the CxOs is inspiring and it is reflected in every aspect of the company. The employees go out of there way to improve the company both within and outside of their role. Its great to work in a company where everyone cares. - The flat structure of the company. If you have a great idea it will be heard, if you have a great idea and proof that it works then development might be started on it straight away. It's not unusual to have the CEO or CTO sit down next to you at lunch. - We use our own products, if we find an issue or an improvement we can directly tell the people making the product how it can be improved. - We celebrate our successes and are not afraid to admit our failures, you take ownership of your work. - As a developer you get your own office so you can work there or in a communal area. You get the best of both worlds, bounce ideas off each other or go to a quiet place while you unravel that complicated bug. - A competent and effective support team. They make the customers feel extremely valued and know exactly when an issue needs to be escalated to a developer. A by-product of this is that every time you do talk to a customer they are always as enthusiastic about Teamwork as you are.
Cons
- It's a small company thats growing fast so it can be hard to keep track of all the new faces but there are steps being taken to improve company wide communications. - The development setup has room for improvement. It works at the moment but there are steps that can be taken to improve the process and reduce a couple of manual steps.
