      I’ll be the first to acknowledge that there were some truly exceptional people in the product organization who made the chaos a bit more bearable.

      Cons

      1. Incompetent Dev Team & Clueless Leadership The Dev team struggled with even the simplest tasks. Leadership was out of touch, shifting blame instead of offering solutions. Deadlines were constantly missed, and the product roadmap felt more like a wish list than an actual plan. 2. DevOps Chaos Releases were disorganized, and monitoring was minimal. Production issues were addressed way too slowly.We spent more time fixing problems than ensuring smooth deployments. Devops lacks basic knowledge 3. Inefficient QA The QA team struggled to keep up with testing, resulting in delayed feedback.This created bottlenecks, slowing down the entire development process. 4. Weekend “Congratulations” Messages Every weekend, without fail, directors sent out congratulatory messages about deployments for prod issue fix , as if they’d just launched a major project. In reality, they were just celebrating pushing fixes to production that should’ve been caught before they even made it live, hoping nothing would break before Monday and off they go.

      Ship Has Sunk; Offshoring Has Begun!

      I guess if you are still left you may be able to stay awhile longer.

      Cons

      Layoffs are massive. Offshoring responsibilities is going on. Executive management team almost completely gone - honestly, what is left?

      Great co-workers and products that can really help people, when they work.

      Cons

      Highest levels of leadership are sub par. Bought a highly successful company and drastically overpaid, leading to multiple rounds of layoffs over the past year. Technical issues galore, burnout levels are high. Trying to convert 2 separate lines of business into one application while also converting internal systems of 2 legacy organizations into one system has caused nothing but problems. Mass layoffs have impacted all teams, causing there to be too much work for the number of folks that still have a job. Systems are broken, clients are growing increasingly frustrated. It is an absolute mess there right now.
