Pros

The pay is the highest in the area. The union provides some awesome benefits.

Cons

The only good thing about TUHS is the pay. Management mistreats nurses and treats us like we're disposable. I was promised a 1:4 or 1:5 ratio but the reality is 1:8 as a new grad. Patients have been verbally, physically, and sexually abusive and nothing is done to protect staff. We were understaffed, overworked, had no resources (bladder scanners, EKGs, linens, IV kits, basic hygiene or medical supplies). New grad nurses are at risk of getting hurt, making errors and losing their license because of this toxic environment.
