Allows for entry-level or minimal professional experience life sciences individuals to gain footing in the biotechnology world. Great benefits to be had as well.

Cons

Limited mobility within the company. Little to no knowledge to be truly gained. Working in the laboratory severely harms employees' intellectual and professional capacity due to redundancy and a stagnant work environment.
