Free snacks, cool co-workers (depends on your team).

Cons

After working elsewhere, I realized how toxic my time at Tempus was. Overworked, underpaid, feeling guilty for taking time off, getting blamed when you ask for help, constant turnover and little chance to advance. Would not recommend.

The people truly made my experience worth it. Amazing coworking environment on my team.

Cons

Typical corporate failures from management. Safety critiques delivered by junior lab employees are ignored until outside organizations like OSHA get involved.

Base pay isn’t bad, I loved my team and co-workers, you bond with people at the company very easily

Cons

They constantly ask you to do overtime rather than hire more people to do the work that obviously needs more bodies to get done. It’s all about volume and pushing samples through. You’ll begin to feel like a cogwheel in a big system. Great stepping stone if you’re interested in lab work and want to get your feet wet. They hire a lot of temps.
