Pros

Could be a great company if senior management listened to associates and branch management on how to address on going customer service issues and improve quality of life for branch associates.

Cons

Senior management doesn't seem to understand that quality service starts with how they treat their associates. Branch level associates don't feel respected which is reflected in the high turn over of new associates. Branch level managers are over worked and are the fall person for senior managements failed initiatives and lack of clear direction.

Pros

They are a large company with good initial training. They do a week of classroom training and a week of field training.

Cons

They were very unethical in the way they sold termite treatments. We were doing way more treatments than we were actually finding termites to treat. Some guys carried termites with them in a container to put at the home to be inspected.

Pros

Ability to adjust schedule at will (with customer's approval), interaction with customers, company vehicle, good benefits, commission and salary, in-depth training, contests with rewards within the company very often, more freedom than the average job (within reason)

Cons

Schedule at will of weather and season (slow in winter and fall, busier in spring/summer, slow due to drought), basic customer service grievances (telling customer prices of services is sometimes difficult/heartbreaking), Company itself is run very well, lots of incentives and bonuses, but the current drought makes keeping your schedule full difficult. With this job being so dependent on commission (after reaching a sales $ amount), a schedule not so full means you only make base salary pay, which isn't great if you have a house and kids to pay for.
