Pros

Owns their fabs and foundries. Opportunities to work in many types of end equipment.

Cons

Reluctant to hire from outside leads to less new ideas. Big and slow moving, not always able to pivot quickly. Lack of positions outside of Texas.

Very management heavy

Pros

Good pay/benefits, love my schedule and flexibility

Cons

Very heavy in management, need more people doing the actual work and not trying to justify their bloated management job. Bunch of good ‘old boys that are not doing the company any favors.

Do Not Work in Manufacturing

Pros

The people you work with (when they aren't shouting at each other). Working in the business units is a lot more enjoyable.

Cons

If you work for TI, do not work in manufacturing. The leadership is toxic. Everything is needed immediately. The stress in this environment was overwhelming. Majority of the people were actively looking for a way out.
