Pros

The people and work atmosphere really stand out at TWDB. It's a diverse workplace with talented people. There is a lot of flexibility in schedule and work location (position-dependent), especially for a state agency. There are many interesting, meaningful projects to work on. Good benefits.

Cons

As with any gov't agency, there is some bureaucracy to navigate. Pay isn't very competitive with industry, but again that's to be expected.
