Pros

You get an employee discount

Cons

You work on commission. Not sure if anyone else has done the math but commission on selling jeans and shirts is like $3.

Pros

Good opportunities for advancement if you can sell well and mold into what the company wants you to be

Cons

Managed during a nationwide downturn for Buckle, cut throat sales expectations seemed nearly impossible, company wanted all employees to use their personal social media to promote the company on a weekly basis. When business is down they expect you to walk the malls and invite people in for "invitation business". Returns from other stores count against your sales so stores will encourage regular customers to return elsewhere. When you struggle to hire (Buckle likes to pay less than min wage as a base before commission for sales people, creates a revolving door of young new people) it is expected you work open to close to fill the gaps.
