Pros

Great discount!!! 40% off all sales items. Everyone is always happy and fun. The pay is great and the communication with staff is wonderful. The staff makes you feel confident and there's no dress-code so you can wear whatever you want and have fun at work.

Cons

Not many except for the fact you'll have to memorize alot of brands and other things like that. selling to people even if they are ten seconds away from leaving the store . So even though you know they are leaving and in all honesty don't want to be bothered you still have to practically harass them to buy/look at something. Also your pay is determined on how your sales are , unless your a visual and you don't really have to worry about selling alot (optional) but one thin that you will have to worry about are getting enough hours.

Pros

I enjoyed talking to customers and helping them feel/look good. I was able to not be the "pushy" Buckle stereotype. You get 40% off anything that you buy!

Cons

You are not paid enough. You have to sell $100 per hour just to make minimum wage; in a college town, selling that much can sometimes be difficult, They also want you to be pushy. They try to get you to always push to most expensive brands, even to people who clearly cannot afford them. You a urged to sell a lot, not just in dollar amount, but in quantity. When you don't, your weekly sales report looks bad and they reprimand you. Also, everything you wear to work must be from the Buckle. Good-bye whatever paycheck you even earned! And they frown upon you shopping at other Buckle stores to get your discount. Also, my particular manager was not a good one.
