I have worked for the Buckle (on and off) for over four year now. The sales/Team Mate training is very structured and extremely specific, so if you appreciate direction and a true job description, than you will have no problem with Buckle's Team Mate training program. If you prefer a retail sales position where you are "thrown out to sea and expected to swim, but can only tread water" with minimal coaching, than working at Buckle is NOT the job for you. Buckle will reward their top sales performers who are consistent and committed to service excellence! Excellent Management training program, including Sales Leaders, Assistant and General Store Managers.
Cons
Commission based pay with small hourly rate (less than minimum wage) makes for inconsistent pay checks. You control your overall hourly rate based on your weekly sales and hours worked. Must have open availability to move out of state (if needed) when participating in the store MIT program.
