Pros

Employee Discount, Flexible Schedule, Bonus Structure for Store Managers, Great Products, etc. Most of the store level employees are great people.

Cons

Poor management at store level, low pay, horrible training, unrealistic sales expectations, etc. The only thing I can honestly say I have learned, is what not to do.

Pros

getting 40% off their clothes but over time it still gets expensive. Most of the employees are fun to work with.

Cons

even when the store is slow you are still held reliable to make your numbers. management constantly breathes down your neck to add more items even if it is irritating your guest

Pros

The discount is generally 40% off all merchandise; You "control" your hourly pay. With commission you can make around 10-$15 an hour or more; VERY understanding of school/personal schedule; Very fun environment, but make sure you get your job done; When business is slow, and there are no projects, you can try on clothes or new products. Super fun place to work if you can handle the high paced environment.

Cons

sometimes the discount puts a minor dent in the very EXPENSIVE brands we sell ($100 shirt is still $60, or $150 jeans are still $90); If you can't sell an outfit an hour, expect to get your hours severely cut or even laid off; For entry level associates, they real you in during back to school/holiday seasons with 30+ hours a week. But between these seasons (when business is slower) I've gotten anywhere from 4-10 hours and I'm looking for a second job now due to the sudden cut of hours; Also, if you don't have open availability you will be scheduled less (as with any job). You MUST have EXCEPTIONAL communication skills with fellow employees or your sales will be sharked; You have to learn who will buy and who's just looking around or your check will suffer.
