Place is a JOKE!

Pros

The scenery in the park is nice.

Cons

Absolutely everything. From upper management to middle management. No respect for employees, they treat everyone with the same "you are replaceable" attitude. President has his head so far in the clouds he hasn't a clue what is going on. Human Resources is so untrustworthy, benefits hasn't a clue what they are doing, insurance constantly changes and increases. Raises are minimal, barely cover insurance hikes. Employees are mostly bitter and resentful. Very juvenile in many departments. Accounting is a nightmare, it's like a horrible junior high soap opera, scary to think they deal with auditors!

Pros

Co-workers try hard to keep things solid in the face of corporate mismanagement.

Cons

Total decimation of workforce, slashing of knowledge base, and abandonment of core values has left this company vulnerable to competition.

Change management is not always a smooth process and not everyone will embrace that change. The workforce at CBORD has been reinvigorated. To remain competitive, new processes, ideas, and culture have been implemeted to make CBORD a leader.

Pros

The office where I work may be different than the other offices, so keep that in mind, but I am allowed to do my job in peace with little harassment, good PTO schedule, OCCASIONALLY get free food. Most other co-workers are a pleasure to work with.

Cons

The place seems to be self destructing from the inside, the upper management is shady, and dishonest, and everything that goes with that. There really seems to be no direction, or plan for anything beyond sell, sell, sell, whatever the cost. Many products are buggy but get released anyway because of the bottom line. They also pay well below average for the same jobs at other places.
