Stagnant pay, upper management out of touch, egotistical, doesn’t listen to experienced staff, no concern for employee satisfaction or retention, yes-man culture for promotions, grueling productivity requirements, abusive customers, high turnover, low quality training, resentful attitude towards remote work, expensive benefits, Owner/CEO seems more interested in commercial real estate than managing company or dealing with bad actors in the VP ranks.

I had three weeks of training and after a week on the floor I got terminated. I was too nice to the costumers and didn’t read the appropriate script. Mind you it’s over 300 pages. If I even slightly improvised I was called out. They asked me a week before if I thought the job was for me because “they all had a different opinion” in a room with 3 men, my boss, his boss and then his boss. I felt intimidated and like a failure. I don’t know how they expect you to be perfect after a week of actually being on the floor. Once I asked for them to have patience because I believed I would be a great employee they terminated me 3 days later. No explanation as to why. Just said I didn’t read the scripts correctly which was a load of crap. Because prior to that meeting I met with my QM and she told me how awesome I was doing. I listened to 6 recordings of myself and she graded me an 87 out of 100 and said that I was amazing for my first week. Once they terminated me they claimed I couldn’t go and grab my stuff they had to go and get my belongings in my desk for me. They never even gave me a warning that’s why I was meeting with them. It was so out of the blue and random I was in shock.
