Pros

The local staff were from diverse ethnic, religious and socioeconomic backgrounds which made for a fascinating and humorous work environment. The mission and goals are great.

Cons

Aggressive company expanding too quickly and is perpetually short of cash. NYC management is disorganized, unethical, and have little knowledge or interest in issues affecting poor rural states. Requirements placed on local staff change constantly and are often foolish. The rollout of the new software application was not fully developed and did not interface well with DHHS, causing multiple errors. Company has expanded into new states by collaborating with existing programs and pushing out local executive staff. Poor pay, expensive benefits, and dishonest wage practices.

Pros

Minimal support for the staff/workers from management which is too bad given the "mission" of Fedcap.

Cons

No cost of living raise. Each year the benefits cost more with less. It is impossible to get an apartment with the current salary (even for a professional) - since a "normal" rent is $2,000 or more in the NYC area (in a working class area that is relatively safe). The idea of accrued vacation and accrued personal days that one must use in a specific calendar year is ludicrous.

Pros

Nice co workers who make the job more pleasant

Cons

They would count you using the bathroom as a break and yell at you for it They treat you like an idiot just because you have a disability no matter how small/big They always want you to do more but the pay never increases. If you are laughing to much you much you will be written up.
