In order to get ahead within this company its about who you know. If you work within the corporate office you will definitely have every available opportunity to advance.

Excellent network of other FSM throughout the region. As long as you follow policy, procedures and enforce code no one can get in your way to perform the job. Regional and Corporate management support is strong. Locally you can only rely on your Warden. You start with 18 days off and very cheap medical insurance (managers only).

Cons

Pay sucks. Half what the industry pays Safety Managers. Politics....politics...politics.....
