Pros

Its a really nice and big school. The curriculum that i've been shown is educational. Some teachers have been very kind and helpful showing me the majority of what to do. Parents and children are incredibly sweet! They have adorable characters that correspond to different parts of the curriculum. The children seem to love them. They have been flexible with my hours since i am also in school. The pay is okay, i am new to childcare so i can't really compare but i'm satisfied.

Cons

As a newer employee, i was never trained and i was sent right to a classroom. Many teachers were helpful, but others just barked orders to the kids or even me. I don't feel like management is on the same page with everyone else. The assistant director is extremely rude and the Director while nice, didn't help me with anything. The owner isn't there much so i don't have an opinion, but when she is, she doesn't come around. I think the biggest issue in this center is that they choose favorites, and it really shows. Its disheartening to know that you're coming in to work hard and treated completely different from others. I've seen some questionable actions from a couple teachers and when i've told the director nothing seems to happen. The reason for that: those are the "favorites". another con is that they are out of ratio a lot. This is a tough one because the turnover rate with teachers is very high, so it's hard to keep the rooms covered. i really love working with kids, i just don't see myself at this school for much longer.

Pros

There were some people in this company that truly cared. If those leaders could move up in the company that would be ideal. They have such an great idea as a company, but they need more experience in organizational leadership.

Cons

Many things were cons. This position is a very underpaid position for the amount of work and results expected. There is zero trust, unethical decisions, and other bigger issues that I will not comment on.
