Pros

A paycheck. Some talented individual contributors still trying to do the right thing despite leadership. If you enjoy constant re-orgs and new team names, there’s no shortage of churn.

Cons

Upper management (COO, CEO, CSO, CIO) have lost all trust in employees, which prompted invasive monitoring like ActivTrak. While they now claim it will be “removed for employees,” they’ve openly said they have other ways of tracking. Leadership’s obsession with surveillance shows exactly how broken the relationship with staff has become. There is still a relentless focus on Ovation milestone dates—even though deadlines were supposed to be “a thing of the past.” Corners are cut, and quality suffers as leadership chases delivery at any cost. The infrastructure is equally neglected: versions behind, best practices ignored, and poorly managed. Re-orgs, renames, and reshuffling are used to bury accountability for past failures, while creating confusion about who owns what. Instead of stabilizing the foundation, leadership diverts attention to flashy AI initiatives (e.g., “agentic” solutions) that the environment isn’t even built to support. Work-life balance does not exist—late nights and weekends are the norm. HR’s heavy push on “wellness” feels like damage control for an overworked, burned-out staff. And let’s not forget: when employees post honest feedback here on Glassdoor, leadership expends energy trying to figure out who wrote it, rather than addressing the truth behind the reviews.

Pros

WFH Benefits (For me). Good Talented People. Good Pay. A good place to learn new skills

Cons

-Big brother is always watching like a hawk. -Bad micro managers and directors. Management will not hesitate to shame you or scold you in front of the whole team if you don't switch on your camera during meetings even if it is VDI's or Zoom’s fault. One of our directors even openly said we should be thankful that they are not asking us to keep our camera on all the time while we are working, especially when WFH. This shows the company has serious trust issues. -No overtime pay or comp time. The manager will say you get comp time, but he will make sure your plate is so full and it is hard to take any. -HR/Management is obsessed with your badge in/out timings and PolicyTech. You will be reprimanded like a school kid with threatening memos. It is quantity over quality. -Managers used to be your friend but not anymore after the new management. They are more or less like spies for upper management. I used to go to afterwork gatherings (sOCCial Gathering), happy hours. Many of us stopped going to save ourselves from spilling something which they don't want to hear. -Upper management/HR always acts like your friend in their “All Hands Meetings”, but every quarter they come up with new policies to restrain you. -There are two main systems Encore (existing clearing system) and Ovation (replaces Encore sometime in the future). The new management is so obsessed with Ovation, they hardly mention Encore or the people who support/run Encore. The rest of the employees are paying the price for Ovation mismanagement.
