The management took cognizance of the Glassdoor reviews after the JLN publicized it, at least that’s what they were posturing. They carried out big employee engagement survey, still got negative feedback which they are attempting to whitewash and rationalize with some stupid theories like it is because the long running programs like Renaissance. They still do not understand that this program is nowhere near the finish line and the reason for it is widespread employee dissatisfaction with the overall management. Most of the directors, principals, executive directors are highly incompetent especially the ones who were hired or promoted recently. They have no interest in delivering anything worthwhile, all they care is their own jobs. They collaborate with the PMO to narrate fake picture of their respective products.
Testing teams have zero domain knowledge and developers have to babysit them. In the end all testing team can do is to bring application up and down. No value is added by testing team, it is just the that in the process developers identify issues and try to fix them and get busy in promoting them to different releases.
The environments are all cloud based and are very unstable. Just from that point of view nobody feels confident that renaissance can ever go live even if applications are fully developed.
Also it is nothing surprising that for every issue that is raised, the management brings some expensive consultants to identify the details and provide solutions. In the process they waste everyone’s time and inflate Renaissance budget.
