It’s great, until it’s NOT

Pros

Great pay (see cons) for easy work. Easy to move up.

Cons

-of gatekeeping between the actual front line working and corporate employees. -HR seems non-existent. -Drug dealing in the office. -Other directors don’t do their job or are scamming the company or involved in some kind of embezzlement scheme. -They outlined multiple bonuses for our director team, and we didn’t get any of them. -I didn’t get paid for my hours worked on my last paycheck. AND they eliminated my position, because I missed a flight due to my project director who didn’t schedule my transportation to the airport, but confirmed with me that they did. -super long hours with no merit. You might be in the office for like 12-17 hours a day, answering calls or receiving texts after 11pm about how the next day looks. -data provided to their clients is FAKE -no organization -all other directors I’ve talked with have not had a positive experience, are suffering either PTSD or burn out after working here. -I literally feel like I had a stroke since working there and cannot focus or think about complex issues or problem solving. Like my brain is broken. -RUN

Pros

In theory the pay was okay. The Goals they work for are good.

Cons

Poorly managed. Poor communication on every level. No value for their employees time. I have talked to dozens of great progressives that used to work here, and they all agree Outreach sucks the spirit out of you. They mislead you about how they use the data they collect. Don't dare ask who hire ups are or what they do with the data.
