Pros

Fellow employees were all gems, stock options, company atmosphere felt positive.

Cons

The only way to really do well is to spend 8 hours in your car driving around picking up your consignors items. Infrastructure is severely lacking, and consignors will harass you nonstop over things you have no control over. You’re definitely going to be working 10+ hours a day, 7 days a week if you want to make your quota and get your commission. Underpaid and overworked. Managers know this, every few months they’ll appease you with a meeting where they swear things will change but they never do. Consignors can be absolutely horrendous and cruel. Very little opportunity for upward mobility, unless you leave the department.

Pros

None! They overwork employees with outlandish quotas and don’t really care about their consignors other than to “get” their items. So you are also on the front line with no meaningful way to offer customer service to your clients. Company only wants to IPO

Cons

As above. I think best thing was bagel Friday’s.
