Pros

May be trying to increase clinical trials in underserved areas.

Cons

There is a lack of transparency by this company. They claim to have been around for more than 15 years, when in reality, they've only existed for 16 months. They are a spinoff from an oncology practice that was purchased by a private equity firm. There is no internal structure and no processes, procedures, or policies. The C-Suite is akin to the Keystone Cops or the Three Stooges. In keeping with the lack of transparency, there is also a lack of ethics and poor tone at the top. One of the C-suite executives hired his brother for a senior role (clear conflict of interest) that is sensitive to the Anti-Kickback Statute. Despite the fact that the company receives payments from government programs such as Medicare, it has no compliance program or educational training about the Anti-Kickback Statute, the False Claims Act, or any other federal guidance. This company is headed for a government investigation. Additionally, its salaries and benefits are far below industry standards, as the HR team seems unfamiliar with benchmarking by education, geography, etc. Employee turnover approximates 25%, even though the company has only been around for a short time. Unless you enjoy working in chaos and have little regard for doing business with integrity, avoid this company.

Pros

Competitive entry-level pay with decent benefits along with an opportunity to learn about cancer research that helps saves patient's lives

Cons

As a former employee, it was quickly apparent that there was an extreme lack of accountability for staff and that favoritism existed with management. Hard-working nurses are forced to pick up the slack of under performing and less qualified ones who consistently get a pass from management. Even when proof and documentation had been provided to first level management and HR, no further action was taken.
