The company offers a professional, energetic, fast-paced environment.

Cons

We have been growing rapidly for many years. Sometimes, the growing pains are difficult. But I wouldn't change this problem for any other. I am glad we are doing so well in the AEC industry.

VERTEX claims that they are a work/life balance and a family organization. Here are a few facts to discredit that declaration. An employee was forced to quit after maternity leave when VERTEX would not consider adjusting her schedule to accommodate motherhood. Another employee on medical leave was ostracized without any compassion. In addition, an employee lost her husband unexpectedly and VERTEX turned their back when she verbalize her monetary concerns. Soon after she was terminated. I'm completely disheartened that a person in the upper management was persuaded to include a tragic death in their review with the intention of adding a positive spin to make VERTEX look charitable and family oriented. SHAMEFUL!
