      Terrible Management but good benefits.

      Pros

      They do a lot for their employees- benefits, and events.

      Cons

      Terrible Management. Hiring Managers that are completely non technical or even never used a computer before. Most managers have a traditional way of thinking and they are very narrow minded. Also the outlook for this company looks bleak given that there is a noticeable drive towards streaming media. TiVo is trying hard to play catchup but its really hopeless given how management is running the business.

      Amazing code base/software stack, great products, smart co-workers, great team, flexible work hours, good dinner, lot of celebrations/events throughout the year

      Cons

      Less RSU/Stock options, Health insurance options are not good

      The best thing about TiVo are the people that do the actual work.

      Pros

      More often than not, people are treated with respect. HR has done their best to make TiVo a fun family company. There are some good people still hanging on.

      Cons

      Upper management has their own agenda that often does not value innovative creativity. Too many reduction of forces! Under appreciated and under paid talent!
