Pros

Users are fanatic. Best overall DVR on the market. Fun to work on technologies around TV and movies. Small enough to allow each employee to make a significant impact and large enough to provide variety and access to other professionals.

Cons

Shrinking retail DVR user base. Competition from cable and satellite provider DVRs. Brand dilution.

Pros

Good place to work, a lot of smart people. Management is usually good at picking the right strategy (aside from several disasters with marketing campaigns).

Cons

Not profitable (really profitable, currently the profit is due to litigation wins spread over several years). Very limited 401k matching. The DVR sector will shrink start to shrink as more and more people opt out of Cable TV (cord cutters) and pick online streaming such as Vudu, Netflix, Amazon, Hulu and AppleTV.
