Great Startup Culture

Pros

This is by far the best company I've been a part of. My manager trusts my expertise and treats me with the utmost respect. As a 100 person company, it's easy to get access to the senior management team for advice and project approvals. For the first time in my career, I truly feel like part of a team. We are served free breakfast everyday and lunch Monday-Thursday. The facility has a gym and easy parking.

Cons

With all startups, resources always seem like a shortage. I came from a company where I would allocate initiatives to others. At Tidemark, I have to be an army of one and do everything required to push out my project. This isn't a place for someone that needs hand holding, but Tidemark allows a self-learner to grow at a much faster pace.

Pros

-Focused on growth for the customers, company and individuals -Management and employees are friendly and know when to get down to business -Very approachable executive team who are considerate and willing to help

Cons

A better benefits program would be nice. The rates seem to be the same even though we have grown dramatically over the past year.

Not a high growth startup

Pros

Friendly, older coworkers. Not overrun by 20-somethings. Good fringe benefits such as free lunches, snacks and massages. Nice management transparency for major decisions and company progress.

Cons

The company has missed a lot of sales goals and is not growing very quickly. VCs are losing faith. Don't expect to be given very generous equity to compensate mediocre salary & benefits. The health insurance is particularly bad. Expect to work a lot of late nights and weekends with no real compensation.
