Pros

The status of the company keeps the customers buying our products, even in bad economic times. This creates financial security. The status is also based on real substance when it comes to customer service, and on the quality of our luxury items, many of which can only be provided by Tiffany. An employee can be proud of that.

Cons

Extremely competitive. Don't look to make any friends with colleagues who are in any way in competition with you for sales or promotions, etc. While they take the way customers are treated extremely seriously, which is good for customers, as an employee, management only cares about how much money you make for them...period. On the other hand it's not personal, and it's not a meritocracy, if you generate more money, you are treated a little bit better.

Pros

The management is organized and the benefits are fair. The discount is also fair for employees and they're very good about hiring in house with room for advancement.

Cons

The environment is extremely conservative and stiff.
