What Tom James did to me is very dirty. They completely screwed me over. I recently just graduated and could not wait for my career at Tom James. TWO WEEKS before my start date they rescinded my offer. I signed all the contracts and filled out all the forms I had to do. I would have understood if there was something I did wrong or I was completely not to their standards. However, this was not the case because they had offered me a Full-Time Position. When I pleaded to them asking why or what I did wrong they would simply say "I cannot get into those details right now." or "We just felt like your organization skills weren't to par". I showed up to the interview directly on time, and have prior sales experience. I honestly do not know what I did wrong and they refuse to tell me. I am a recent college graduate and HAVE declined other offers because I was set on this company. I also quit my prior job too. If they did not like me as a candidate they why even send me an offer? and on top of that why wait till the last two weeks? Now I am devastated, but I guess I shouldn't be because a company that conducts itself in this manner couldn't have been a good company to begin with. They are very manipulative, and lie to you. They wasted my time.

The people are great, the company culture is really encouraging. Everyone wants everyone to succeed. Great health care, stock options, etc. and uncapped commission

Cons

Long hours, grueling work, no immediate payoff. Have to constantly be working 110%. No true advancement opportunities
