Pros

Tom Sawyer Software has very interesting products using cutting-edge technologies and this is great opportunity for you to learn new things and gain experience in many areas. Management hierarchy is flat, people are accessible and this helps you to express your ideas and feel that your work and contribution is important. Co-workers are very friendly and supportive of your work. Benefits are good and promotion system is quite fair.

Cons

It is good to work with distributed teams in terms of the multi-cultural environment but that also means you should be ready to have some meetings during your non-work hours. This is usually fine, though, as you have flexible work schedule.

Pros

Offers flexible work time and uses highest quality equipment. Office in Riga is at a great location with lots of options for lunch and quick connections to all suburbs.

Cons

Sometimes it's difficult to understand the future goals and where the company is moving with its products, but that is also part of the challenge which makes you think and innovate.

Pros

Tom Sawyer Software has a great engineering team with good support provided by other departments. The work is very varied and you are constantly being challenged and building your skills and knowledge. Many different technologies are used and so it's always interesting. It's also very satisfying to be working on a visual product where you can clearly see the results of your hard work. Plus the products are awesome and I get a kick out of showing them to people.

Cons

Having engineering teams distributed around the world means organizing group meetings is sometimes challenging. So you have the occasional late nights or early mornings, however there's flexibility that comes with that and so often it's a good thing.
