Thank you for your review. Tom Sawyer Software is of course a work in progress like many other organizations. We continue designing and shaping our company to meet the needs of our customers and to continue to strengthen and grow the company. The comments about marketing and sales are valid. As we understand better, we realize that the products are indeed sold to a very technical and sophisticated audience. As such, we have been changing our approach to marketing and sales in the last few years in order to improve our success. This change also indicates that we have to be very careful that the marketing and sales staff have sufficient technical and business skills to succeed.

Pros

Everyone is really passionate about what they do here, so it's inspiring to work with these people. Executives and management care about employees and are easily accessible. Cross-departmental connections are smooth -- Sales, Marketing, and Engineers work well and tightly with each other.

Cons

The team is relatively small and resources are finite, so it can be a challenge at times. On the other hand, it's a great opportunity to learn a lot of new things and gain expertise in many areas. There's room to jumpstart new initiatives and run with them.

Thank you for your kind words. The company is growing steadily, so the resource situation is improving. We also have new headquarters in Berkeley and a number of solid and well-staffed facilities around the world.
